Code of Ethics

This code of Ethics (hereinafter “the Code”) is a set of clear guidelines for our employees in the areas of their daily duties.

All employees, managers and executives are responsible for performing their tasks in a manner compliant with the Code.

In order to ensure that the above mentioned principles are implemented and are integral part of our internal Quality Assurance System, its processes, procedures and audits, the following guidelines were created:

Integrity

Our work shall be carried out honestly, in a professional, independent and impartial manner, without any derogations while performing tasks, according to our own approved methods and procedures or the reporting of accurate results.
Our reports and certificates shall correctly present the actual situation, professional opinions and results obtained.
Data, test results and other material facts shall be reported in good faith and will not be improperly changed.

Conflicts of interest

We shall avoid conflicts of interest or the appearance of conflicts of interest in our business transactions and services by taking specific requirements into account and by applying dedicated internal procedures. It is essential that we remain free from situations, commitments and relationships that involve, or could involve, a conflict of interest.

Confidentiality

All information received in the course of the provision of our services shall be treated as confidential to the extent that such information is not already published, generally available to third parties or otherwise in the public domain.
All employees are personally committed by the signature of a confidentiality agreement, which which obliges them not to disclose any confidential information regarding one customer to another customer, and not to try to make a personal profit from any information obtained in the course of your employment contract within HQTS, and don’t allow or facilitate the entry of unauthorized persons to your premises.

Anti-bribery

We apply relevant local and international anti-bribery laws in all jurisdictions within which we are established.

Our rules:

Our employees are prohibited from accepting gifts, as well as remuneration in any form, in a direct or indirect manner, including commissions on any portion of a contract payment.
They are prohibited from accepting payments and funds from unknown sources. They are also prohibited from using funds or assets for any unethical purpose.
They are prohibited from suggesting willingness to accept commission or other remuneration from customers, agents, suppliers, other contract parties, or employees of any such a party, or government officials in any other manner.

Fair Marketing

Our marketing shall be conducted in a truthful and non-deceptive manner, that will not mislead or be likely to mislead and that is consistent with applicable laws.
We shall present our company in a fair and reasonable manner and ensure that presentational information is accurately unambiguous.

Certificate and Membership

HQTS has ISO 17020 certification from CNAS

HQTS has got ISO17020 certification from CNAS (Chinese National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment), which is the national accreditation body responsible for the accreditation of inspection bodies, laboratories and certification bodies.

What does ISO17020 certification mean in the case of an inspection company?

When choosing a third party inspection company, it is crucial to make sure that the organization undertaking the inspection has human resources, equipment, technical expertise, management and data archiving systems, so as to carry out the inspection professionally and competently.
HQTS complies with ISO17020 standard, which means we have expertise and experience necessary to provide quality control services and are able to provide high quality of services. Thus, our accreditation enhances the confidence of our customers.

HQTS is member of IFIA

IFIA (International Federation of Inspection Agencies) is the trade association for inspection agencies and other organizations that provide inspection, testing and certification services internationally. The promotion of integrity is one of the federation’s top priorities. Its objective is to review and, where possible, to improve the methods, standards, safety procedures and rules used and observed by Members for the benefit of Members and their customers.
IFIA promotes cooperation between inspection agencies, laboratories and connects businesses throughout the world in order to:

• Develop and coordinate technical and professional standards, methods of inspection and testing, and codes of practice.
• Improve efficiency and establish standard procedures.
• Develop methods of technical education and training.
• Promote uniform interpretation of international safety standards and cooperate during their implementation.
